Dungeonauts - Grimjaw Rough Monster Concept

Hello everyone! I'd like to show a few rough sketches I did for Grimjaw, the main villain of Dungeonauts, a Fortnite experienced by Look North World in partnership with MNSTR Studio!
I had the honor of working over the main idea and sketches done by veteran Mark Bernal, and from there explore with line/color and just color painted designs to help me bring more variation to the overall design. Although this formidable creature didn't make into the final game, I was very lucky to be able to freely explore and sketch him before moving into other tasks. Design monsters and characters are really fun, I hope I can also do this more in the future!
